Qigong is the exercise of life energy.
This style of Qigong consists of 18 “movement-pictures” for your enjoyment and well-being. The class runs in a 6-week cycle, where we will practice the full sequence of 18 moves but focus on refining a few of them each week. We will also learn how to cultivate qi through exercises that warm up the body-mind in preparation for practicing the form.
This simple, gentle, powerful series of movements cultivates and harmonizes energy in body and mind. The benefits of practicing Qigong are physical — better balance, increased flexibility, enhanced immune system, more vitality — as well as mental and emotional — joy, calm, equanimity, and confidence.
Classes are open to everyone, at any fitness level. The form can be done seated.
