Feel free to attend just one sitting or all four in the series. No commitment is required. Each class is self contained, although they are complementary to one another.

Each week we will practice anchoring the attention on a specific object during meditation, as a way to stabilize present moment awareness. Often this is a good way to begin a period of sitting practice, after which it’s easier to open up to “bare awareness” with no specific object.
There is a natural progression of steps from each of these to the next, but you can easily attend just one of the sittings to build skills and gain benefit. We’ll discover mindful strategies for dealing with discomfort and pain during meditation, learn to accept everything that happens as a support for practice rather than a distraction, and access our innate deep inner peace and well-being.
Time will be provided for Question & Answer and discussion. Classes are $15 per class, $50 for the four part series if purchased as a package.
