New Year's Mini-Retreat

New Year’s Eve is a good time to slow down and take stock. As this incredible year of continuous challenges winds down and a new year begins, it has never been more important to cultivate a deeper connection to ourselves and to develop a sharper clarity about where we’ve been and where this journey is taking us. After the frenzy of the holiday season (which has its own special set of 2020 stressors), the last day of the year beckons with the promise of quiet contemplation and release.

This mini-retreat offers the possibility of stillness within movement, and movement within stillness.

  • We will honor and release the year that is passing away, then embrace the year ahead.

  • Using mindful movement (Qigong, Alexander Technique), we’ll investigate how to embody fresh approaches to everyday activities.

  • Insight meditation will provide a way to listen deeply to ourselves.

  • We will set some intentions for 2021, sharing them with each other for commitment and mutual inspiration.

And you’ll still have time to get to whatever plans you may have for celebrating that night!
